I've been told that all construction work now comes under the new Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007. I have no knowledge of what this means to me and how responsible I am going to be held. How can you help me?

What guarantees or assurances do I have that any construction work undertaken by you will be done satisfactorily?
We guarantee that all works will be done to your and our high standards of work., and we can also issue warranties. Any faults that are proven to be under our authority will be rectified in a timely manner. Any works done that fall under the NHBC rules will also come under their Guarantees and Insurances.

How quickly can you undertake work from my acceptance of your quote?
On submission of a quote for works, we will inform you of the time frame expected for works to start and for the duration.

What is the duration of a quote and what guarantees do you give that during this time your prices will not go up?
All quotes have a life of 6 months in which work will have to start. After this, a quote may have to be resubmitted and will have to be done with the agreement of the client. Also we cannot guarantee any material or suppliers prices. If these are a factor in raising the initial quote, this again will be discussed with the client prior to agreement and start of work.

How will I know that you use trained and competent staff?
We only use trained and competent staff. We also have a fully CSCS or CISRS carded workforce where each person will have a card to prove his competence in his profession, and that he has been Health and Safety tested. You may ask for this persons CITB registration number and check them with the CITB, or ask to see their card.
