Construction Apprentices

We are very proud to have trained and qualified 5 Bricklayers, 1 Carpenter and 6 Scaffolders up to Advanced Craft qualifications, and we currently have 2 new apprentices, 1 Bricklaying and 1 Maintenance Operations, who we expect great things from.

All of our apprentices are managed through CITB-ConstructionSkills which helps to ensure that all training, whether through skill centres or on-the-job, are up to the industry standards and meet the individuals’ needs.

OSAT and EWPA

We have helped over 30 bricklayers and scaffolders gain the qualifications needed for them to get their CSCS and CISRS cards required to work on major building projects. In the past many highly skilled and competent workers learnt on the job but didn’t have the qualifications to prove it. Through the On-Site Assessment and Training (OSAT) or Experienced Worker Practical Assessment (EWPA) programs these very valuable operatives have been able to do just that.

About CSCS and CISRS

CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents. They are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by developers, contractors, public and private clients and others.

CISRS is the scaffolding industry’s equivalent card scheme of proof of competence. All our employees are CSCS or CISRS registered and qualified.

Training for Building Standards and Skills

We monitor all aspects of the work we do to ensure staff have the skills and safety training which keep their abilities current, relevant and up to the standards required. It is essential in ensuring all our operatives are fully and properly trained, not only for the job they do but for their safety.
